Taryne Thomas is a physical therapist, a Board-Certified Oncologic Clinical Specialist, and has a passion for individuals with cancer. A North Idaho native, Taryne completed her undergraduate education in health sciences and anthrozoology at Carroll College in Helena, Montana, and obtained her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. From 2015 to 2020, Taryne was a physical therapist at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in heart of the Texas Medical Center in Houston, spending most of her time in the department of Orthopaedic Oncology. Taryne is excited to announce that she has recently partnered with the skilled team at North Idaho Physical Therapy to start an outpatient oncology physical therapy program to serve the Inland Northwest. Taryne’s mission is to establish a growing outpatient physical therapy program to severe individuals diagnosed with all types of cancer and to create educational platforms for patients and medical providers to encourage early intervention physical therapy in patient treatment plans. Taryne enjoys exercise, the outdoors, is an entrepreneur, and is a two-time Ironman Triathlon finisher.
