Sonja Hurt, LMT

Sonja was born and raised in Montana. She spent quite a bit of time in Mexico and Central America, initially with the University of Montana Spanish program, then travelling on her own. Returning to school, she studied Spanish, TESL and Linguistics. She returned to Mexico and Honduras with a couple of different mission organizations, and then also taught English as a Second Language K-5 in Oregon and Spanish at Coeur d’Alene High School. Always loving to learn and fascinated with health, the human body and alternative ways of maintaining wellness; she enrolled in the American Institute for Clinical Massage in 2011. She has previously worked in a clinical setting coordinating with chiropractic care. She and Rick, her husband of 17 years live in Coeur d’Alene with Monte their dog who gets them out for walks almost every day of our beautiful four seasons. She enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling and biblical Hebrew.
