Krista Kane, RDN, LD
Registered Dietitian
Krista Kane RDN, LD is a registered dietitian at BioPerformance Institute. She was a student-athlete graduate from the University of Idaho where she obtained her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics while running cross country and track. During this time is where she discovered the field of dietetics. While at the University of Idaho, she completed her internships in her hometown of Coeur d Alene. She gained experience and knowledge in clinical nutrition in the acute care and outpatient setting, community nutrition, and foodservice management. Since graduation, she has been working in the acute care clinical setting where she has gained experience working with a variety of patient populations and disease states.
Krista believes in providing clients with evidenced based medical nutrition therapy while taking an integrative healthcare approach. She approaches each client as a unique individual, and makes recommendations just for YOU by considering your personal health and nutrition goals as well as all aspects of your lifestyle… sleep, stress, recovery, exercise, relationships, etc. She believes by taking a whole-systems approach to your health, we can get a better image of a person’s overall wellbeing. With this approach, we can focus on making lasting lifestyle changes so you can feel better and do more. She will meet you where you are at and help you get to where you want to be. Whether it is sports performance, weight management, chronic illness management, or just overall health optimization, she is confident that clients will be equipped with the tools and knowledge required to be successful in making lasting lifestyle changes.
